Savoy Cabbage, "Famosa". Deep blue-green heads weighing in at 2–4 lb. The yellow-tinted interior is filled with great, tender leaves with a very good flavor. Best in cooked dishes. Intermediate resistance to downy mildew. Sold in packs of 3.
CULTURE:
Cabbage, as well as cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and related Brassicas, are heavy feeders. They require fertile soils in a pH range of 6.5-7.5, supplied with consistent irrigation throughout the growing period. Individual plants require at least 18-24 square inches of garden space to mature properly.
