VARIETIES:
"Winterbor". Standard curly kale type. The plants are tall, growing up to 2–3', with excellent yield and good cold hardiness. The ruffled blue-green leaves have an attractive curl. Vigorous plants will continue growing to produce leaves for successive harvests as the lower leaves are harvested.
CULTURE:
Kale prefers a fertile, well-drained soil high in organic matter with a pH range of 6.0–7.5. Consistent moisture will produce the best quality leaves.
