VARIETY:

"Fanni" Common Sage. Also called "Garden Sage". Wonderfully aromatic gray green leaves used in soups, meat dishes, gravies and stuffing. Sturdy, woody stems can be used as ornamental branches in floral wreaths. Beautiful lavender flowers in summer. Start transplants 4-6 weeks before last frost. Excellent fresh or dried.

CULTURE:

Sage performs best in well-drained soils with a moderate level of nitrogen. Mulch in the fall for best results in overwintering! Perennial.
